Course Description: This class consists of basic information about surveys, the kinds of questions to ask, and how to ask them. It also includes a section on how to use SurveyMonkey software to design a survey, to send it out, and to get results that can be easily interpreted. Outcomes anticipated are that participants will have a basic understanding of survey construction and usage, they will be able to select the types of questions needed to obtain the information they need, they will become familiar with the survey software SurveyMonkey, and will design a basic survey with the software. Participants will be asked to come to the class with a survey project in mind.
