Need for This Course:
A survey of MAC and Southern Chapter members showed interest in a Train the Trainer course. Additionally, fewer of these general courses are being taught each year at the Chapters or MLA and many new librarians are entering the field without the fundamentals of building an adult education course. This course is to help remedy that problem.
The instructional methods used include
Lecture, Slides, Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming, Sharing/Self-disclosure, Gaming, Hands-on Exercises, and Case Study.
Participant Materials:
There will be handouts of the slide show, a manual, and exercise sheets.
Facility Requirements:
LCD Projector and computer.
Additional Evaluation:
I will use the MLA standard evaluation tool.
